The Peck Pirates can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Carsonville-Port Sanilac with a sharp 63-40 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Peck has posted since December 14, 2023.
Peck's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas West, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. West is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cal Heiden, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Peck's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peck will take on Dryden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dryden presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Peck in Michigan (Dryden is ranked 208th, while Peck is ranked 548th). As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Landmark Academy at 7:30 p.m.
