Mount Paran Christian waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Washington by a score of 68-57.
Christopher Park was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. Tony LoPresti was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
South Atlanta has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 67-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Drew Charter on Tuesday.
Mount Paran Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for South Atlanta, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.
Mount Paran Christian ended up a good deal behind South Atlanta in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 67-53. Can Mount Paran Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
