Cross County came tearing into  Tuesday's  matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Shelby-Rising City Huskies. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Huskies  back in September, they had to take a  3-1  loss.
 Sydney Hengelfelt paced Cross County's offense, picking up 33 kills. Hengelfelt got some help from  Eden Peterson and her 57 assists.  Ava Pruter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Shelby-Rising City's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Aleigha Escobar-Schaefer, who  had 24  digs and four  assists, and  Khloee Trujillo, who  had ten  digs.
Cross County's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Shelby-Rising City,  with the  loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-9.
As of now, neither Cross County nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
