Denver South faced Northfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Ravens really took it to the Nighthawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 victory. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Denver South didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Asha Daniels, Maya Davis, and Helen Campisi picked up one apiece.

The win was the fifth in a row for Denver South, bringing their record up to 8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.4 points over those games. As for Northfield, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver South will venture away from home to face off against Regis Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Northfield, they will head out to take on Rangeview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
