Chatfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tony Rondinelli, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Rondinelli also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Colin Mote was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Prairie View's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javon Brewton, who scored 21 points along with six assists. Brewton scored a full 30% of Prairie View's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Allee, who scored 18 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Chatfield and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Prairie View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
