Even though the Hickory Christian Academy Knights scored an imposing 66 points on Thursday, the North Cross Raiders still came out on top. North Cross took down Hickory Christian Academy 83-66. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Cross.
North Cross got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Antonio Mack out in front who scored 30 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Mack has scored at least 25% of North Cross' points. Another player making a difference was Jesiah Hines, who scored 24 points.
North Cross is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Hickory Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cross' road trip will continue as they head out to face Fishburne Military at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Fishburne Military comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hickory Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Salem Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Salem Baptist Christian is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
