Last Saturday, Meadville took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 67-38 victory over Northwestern. With Meadville ahead 46-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Meadville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Thompson, who scored 16 points along with 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Dennis, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Atlanta lost to Grundy County/Newtown-Harris on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin on Saturday.
The victory got Meadville back to even at 2-2. As for Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Things could have been worse for Meadville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to Atlanta in their previous matchup back in December of 2022.
