Prairie has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Merino Rams at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Prairie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Prairie took their match at home with ease, bagging a 57-18 win over Union Colony Prep.
Prairie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Riar Holloway, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. Brennan Bringelson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 7 assists.
Meanwhile, Merino came up short against Simla on Saturday and fell 55-47.
The losses dropped Prairie to 2-2 and Union Colony Prep to 0-4.
Prairie might still be hurting after the 52-29 defeat they got from Merino when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Prairie avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
