The Northeast Dubois Jeeps won the last time they faced the Wood Memorial Trojans, and things went their way on Saturday too. Northeast Dubois secured a 43-38 W over Wood Memorial.
Northeast Dubois was led to victory by Clay Fuhrman and Grant Goller. Fuhrman scored 11 points, while Goller scored 14 points along with two steals. Goller has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Tryp Verkamp was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Northeast Dubois' victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Wood Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Dubois and North Knox will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Wood Memorial, Wood Memorial and South Spencer will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Spencer is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
