They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pearland Oilers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oilers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  7-3  last Tuesday.
Pasadena Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 9-13-1. As for Pearland, their win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-6.
