Even though the Kimball Longhorns have not done well against the Pine Bluffs Hornets recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Kimball narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Pine Bluffs  61-58. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Kimball.
 Leading Kimball to victory were  Kyler Lusche and  Brandon Paxton.  Lusche  went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists, while  Paxton  dropped  a double-double on 23 points and 11  rebounds. Lusche is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 17 or more in the last four games he's  played.  Braxton Miller was another key contributor,  scoring three points along with eight  assists.
 Kimball is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Pine Bluffs, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball will take on Hemingford at TBD on Friday. Kimball is coming into the  match with three straight  victories at home,  meaning Hemingford will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. Pine Bluffs will take on Southeast at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Wyoming (Pine Bluffs is ranked 45th, while Southeast is ranked 43rd).
