Washington entered their tilt with Charleroi on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Cougars 61-9. Given the Prexies' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Cougars are ranked 558th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Charleroi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
