EULESS, Texas - After swapping the lead three times,
Jenks (Okla.) took the lead for the win when
Cooper Nunley thew a touchdown to
Carter Nelson in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over
Trinity (Euless, Texas) 27-23.
The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at 13. The Trojans took the lead indefinitely on a Nunley touchdown pass to Nelson in the third quarter.
Trinity (0-1) goes up against DeSoto in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Jenks (1-0) locks horns with Union also in a non-conference game.
