Harvester Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in Independent Christian of GA/AL (8 Man) this week by beating Holy Ground Baptist Academy, 28-26. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Hawks.
Praise Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 70 points on Ballard Christian.
Jarrett Scott has thrown for 1,313 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Dalton Starling has 36 catches for 627 yards. Scott also leads the league in rushing with 1,128 yards.
The marquee game in Independent Christian of GA/AL (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Ballard Christian and Heritage Christian. Buddy Hammock's team comes into the matchup ranked 10th in the state, while the Crusaders ranks 14th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Stallions take on North Georgia Christian. Holy Ground Baptist Academy has allowed 102 points this season, while the The Chargers have given up 192. Jamie Perry's team allowed 28 points last week as it lost to Harvester Christian Academy.
Jeff Reagan's team led the league in points allowed with 26.
