Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Point). They blew past the La Plata Warriors 83-56 on Wednesday. The Eagles pushed the score to 59-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Landhn Mathis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 for 14 on his way to 21 points and six assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. DJ Brown also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: North Point was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory was the third in a row for North Point, bringing their record for this year to 5-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for La Plata, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-7.
