Atchison is a perfect 10-0 against Harmon since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Phoenix will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Harmon took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Atchison, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Atchison needed a bit of extra time to put away Sumner Academy. They had just enough and edged out the Sabres 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Phoenix have posted since May 3, 2025.

Kirrah Duncan made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over eight innings while giving up five earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Andi Estes was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Kelsey Rebant was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
Atchison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Harmon fell victim to Sumner Academy and their airtight pitching crew on April 7th. They lost 16-0 to the Sabres. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Sabres: they've now lost six in a row.
Atchison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Harmon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Atchison got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Harmon by a conclusive 17-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
