Scott is 1-6 against Ryle since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Scott has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Scott is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Beechwood 24-18 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Scott got a massive performance out of Avery Reeves, who went 4-for-6 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Reeves a new career-high. Jamie Golden was another key player, going 3-for-6 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Scott kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ryle's offense. They lost 14-0 to Campbell County on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Camels recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
With the win, Scott broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-21. As for Ryle, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Scott hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. However, it's not like Ryle struggles in that department as they've averaged .383. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Scott might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Ryle when the teams last played back in April. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
