Hamilton extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 15-8. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Perry Pumas. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Pumas back in March, they had to take a 7-2 loss.

Ben Ball was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Hamilton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kal Hampton, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
As for Perry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record this season. Pumas fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Hamilton since Saturday.
On Perry's side, they got a good showing from Lincoln Oltmanns, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Oltmanns has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Trejan LeBeau led a balanced group of hitters, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Parker Estfan, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Hamilton has already played their next matchup, a 22-12 defeat against Casteel on the 21st. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-9 loss against Tucson High Magnet School on the 21st.
