The Colton-Pierrepont Colts's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 77-53 walloping at the hands of Lisbon Central. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Colton-Pierrepont has suffered against Lisbon Central since March 8, 2021.
Colton-Pierrepont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ty Farns, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Farns scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Smith, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Colton-Pierrepont has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Lisbon Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colton-Pierrepont on the road again on Friday and play against Parishville-Hopkinton at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th. As for Lisbon Central, they will face off against Colton-Pierrepont at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
