Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Landon Cooper stepped things up a notch to give Vernon the 'W'. Cooper didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
