Masconomet Regional extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against  the Andover Golden Warriors, falling  3-0. The Chieftains were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Golden Warriors from their previous meeting  back in October of 2015.
 Cate Wettstone paced Masconomet Regional's offense, picking up 17 kills. Wettstone got some help from  Jordan Draper and her 21 assists. Finally,  Wettstone was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
As for Andover, their win bumped their record up to 1-0. They not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since October 7, 2024 (when they won  3-0).
  Farah Berty was the offensive standout of the  game as she  had eight  digs and four  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in October of 2024.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Masconomet Regional will square off against Peabody Veterans Memorial at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Andover, they will take on North Andover at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
