Bermudian Springs is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Littlestown is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bermudian Springs Eagles will take on the Littlestown Thunderbolts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Bermudian Springs got themselves on the board against York County Tech, but York County Tech never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over the Spartans at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Bermudian Springs just coasted through the last quarter.
Jack Gautsch was the offensive standout of the matchup as he picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 54 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Tyson Carpenter got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Littlestown humbled Biglerville with a 49-14 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.
Their wins bumped Bermudian Springs to 6-3 and Littlestown to 7-2.
Bermudian Springs ended up a good deal behind Littlestown in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, losing 21-7. Will Bermudian Springs have more luck at home instead of on the road?
