Davidson Fine Arts won the last time they faced Johnson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Davidson Fine Arts was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8.

Julika Cunningham paced Davidson Fine Arts' offense, picking up seven kills. Cunningham got some help from Margot Rychly and her 19 assists.

Davidson Fine Arts has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Johnson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Davidson Fine Arts will be taking part in a tournament against Westside at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Johnson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Butler at 6:00 p.m. on September 9.
