Melbourne Central Catholic proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Rockledge Raiders 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Hustlers as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Madelynn Prayto was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February.
