Old Orchard Beach had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 0-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maranacook. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Old Orchard Beach off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Maranacook a 1-0 record.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Old Orchard Beach will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Sacopee Valley at 7:00 PM. Maranacook are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Traip next week at 1:30 PM.
