Softball Recap: East Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

East got themselves on the board against Henderson on Wednesday, but Henderson never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 13-0. Considering the Vikings have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cross Ava was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cross Daria, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

East always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Henderson only posted an OBP of .176.

East is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Henderson, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-20.

East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Henderson, they will challenge Villa Maria Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
