Football Recap: Camden Campbell Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rock Springs Christian Academy challenged Central on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 20-12. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Rock Springs Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camden Campbell led the charge by rushing for 96 yards on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 31 yards and one touchdown. The Eagles also got a significant boost from Liam Buice, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rock Springs Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 298 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
