A Season-Best Effort from Adrian Sanchez Leads Glen Rose over Godley
Glen Rose was led to victory by Adrian Sanchez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sanchez picked up 175 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 60 yards.
Glen Rose pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Sanchez and Glen Rose will welcome Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braylen Benson Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Hillsboro got the W thanks in part to Braylen Benson playing the best football he has all season. Benson rushed for 104 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards.
The win got Hillsboro back to even at 3-3. Benson and Hillsboro are on the road again on Friday to play Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m.

Canyon Evans Dazzles in Glen Rose Victory
Canyon Evans posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Godley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Evans it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Evans saw the Wildcats), he threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns.

While Dunbar might've come up empty on Friday, Ja'Marion Garrett wasn't going down without a fight. Garrett was unstoppable, rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Dunbar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Garrett and Dunbar will take on Venus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Eight Total Tackles from Jacoryn Johnson
Jacoryn Johnson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 17th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He turned in his biggest game of the season, forcing a fumble and making 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
For the year, Johnson has averaged 11.5 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had one forced fumble. This year he is already up to three.
