Brenham didn't get the result they wanted in their first matchup with Giddings on Saturday. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Giddings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
This is the second loss in a row for Brenham and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1. As for Giddings, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-5-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brenham will take on La Grange at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Giddings, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hempstead at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hempstead is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
