After flying high against the Cumberland Gap Panthers last Friday, The Eagleton College & Career Academy Eagles came back down to earth. Eagleton College & Career Academy took a serious blow against York Institute on Friday, falling 61-7. Eagleton College & Career Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-0.
Riylin Miller was a one-man wrecking crew for York Institute as he rushed for 185 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Miller's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards. Logan Pannell also helped out as he racked up 103 rushing yards.
Eagleton College & Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for York Institute, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Eagleton College & Career Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. York Institute will take on Oneida at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oneida will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while York Institute is ranked 80th).
