Norton extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-8. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Ashland Clockers. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.
Ben Price made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Adam Caldwell was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
