JaJuan Lawson ran for two touchdowns and
Cody Hughson added two as well as
Casa Grande (Petaluma, Calif.) bested Windsor (Calif.) 42-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Lawson in the first quarter, the Gauchos were up 21-0 at the half.
Casa Grande expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. CG scored two times in the third, including once on a Hughson touchdown run.
With the win the Petaluma school extended its winning streak to 12 games. Casa Grande defeated Alameda 45-14 last week.
Windsor's only touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.
The Gauchos came into the game allowing 15.1 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Windsor, who notched a 32-10 victory over Rancho Cotate in its previous outing. The loss broke Windsor's two-game winning streak.
