Norwayne had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rittman Indians. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Norwayne walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-12.
Ava Maibach paced Norwayne's offense, picking up 14 kills. Maibach got some help from CJ Moore and her 23 assists. Cherish Bell and Reece Urban kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
Mackenzie Beltz and Alexis Olinger certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Beltz had 28 assists and 13 digs, while Olinger had nine kills and three blocks. Beltz is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
Norwayne's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Rittman, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
