Vinemont pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-55 bruising from Susan Moore. Vinemont has struggled against Susan Moore recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Maggie Burks, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Reagan Robinson, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Cold Springs stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 78-32 victory over Southeastern. The victory was nothing new for Cold Springs as they're now sitting on four straight.
Vinemont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Cold Springs, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Vinemont came up short against Cold Springs when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 60-56. Can Vinemont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
