On Kankakee's side, TJ Prude was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Prude has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Prude was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI.

Watseka's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Kankakee, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
