The St. Frederick Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Sterlington Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
St. Frederick had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Choudrant, posting a 83-44 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, Sterlington was able to grind out a solid win over D'Arbonne Woods on Friday, taking the game 75-65. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sterlington.
It was another big night for Cooper Nelson, who scored 32 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khristian Johnson , who scored 19 points.

Things could have been worse for St. Frederick, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-40 loss to Sterlington when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Thankfully for St. Frederick, Cardez Norman (who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
