Last Friday, Hillcrest Christian put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 54-12 victory over Laguna Blanca. Senior Aiden Silver, who rushed for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Hillcrest Christian's success. This marked the 3rd matchup in which Silver has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian were able to grind out a solid win over East Valley, winning 20-6.
Hillcrest Christian were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Lighthouse Christian 88-42. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
