They walked away with a 33-26 victory over Genoa Christian Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Tree of Life Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Genoa Christian Academy players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery Norman, who scored eight points. Norman scored a full 30.8% of Genoa Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Reagan Schuck, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Tree of Life Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Genoa Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Tree of Life Christian will be playing at home against Grandview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grandview Heights is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Genoa Christian Academy, they will square off against Shekinah Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Shekinah Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Thursday.
