Central Georgia Arts got a massive performance out of Anderson Bloodworth, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Bloodworth a new career-high. Harrison Strange was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Central Georgia Arts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Covenant Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to Taylor County. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Covenant Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asa Wood, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Grant Reidl also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Central Georgia Arts pushed their record up to 15-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Covenant Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Central Georgia Arts suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Covenant Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Can Central Georgia Arts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
