The Millennium Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 66 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westview 79-14 on the road. Fans of Millennium have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Millennium found their leader in underclassman Dashia Richardson, who scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds. Jayda Hunt was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Millennium's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Westview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Millennium is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Perry at 5:30 p.m. on November 29th. Perry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Millennium is ranked ninth). As for Westview, they will be playing at home against South Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
