 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Rylee Fike, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Kelsie Fowler also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
Genoa Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Prescott, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Genoa Central will take on Smackover at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Buckaroos will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prescott, they will face off against Ashdown at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
