Leyton can bid farewell to their eight-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Creek Valley Storm with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-11.

Auvi Cranmore paced Leyton's offense, picking up eight kills. Cranmore got some help from Macey Roelle and her 13 assists. Roelle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Leyton's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Creek Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15.

Leyton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Potter-Dix on the 4th. As for Creek Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against South Platte at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
