This season hasn't been kind to the Tyler Classical Academy Eagles, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They took a serious blow against All Saints Episcopal on Thursday, falling 56-3. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tyler Classical Academy has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead All Saints Episcopal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ceci Torres, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Torres has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kayla De Campos, who scored 18 points.
Tyler Classical Academy bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.0 points per game. As for All Saints Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyler Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leverett's Chapel at 5:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024. All Saints Episcopal will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th.
