The Bentley Phoenix will head out on the road to challenge the Redwood Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Bentley suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 72-44 defeat at the hands of College Prep.
Meanwhile, Redwood Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 57-24 loss at the hands of Athenian. Redwood Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Bentley's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Redwood Christian, they bumped their record down to 5-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Bentley beat Redwood Christian 68-56 when the teams last played on Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bentley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
