Basketball Recap: Frontier School of Excellence Piles Up the Points Against Ozanam

Frontier School of Excellence won the last time they faced Ozanam and things went their way on Monday too. Frontier School of Excellence took their game with ease, bagging a 69-41 win over Ozanam. Frontier School of Excellence has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Frontier School of Excellence got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jakeem Davis out in front who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, ten boards, and ten steals. Davis is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Merwis Ramirez Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Frontier School of Excellence was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ozanam only posted six assists.

Several Ozanam players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A.W. Poke, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. Xavier Alford was another key player, putting up eight points and 15 rebounds.

Frontier School of Excellence has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Ozanam, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Frontier School of Excellence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-26 win against Academie Lafayette on the 4th. As for Ozanam, they have also already played their next contest, a 91-43 loss against Independence Home School on the 6th.
