Oberlin will take on Hamilton Christian at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Oberlin have yet to lose; Hamilton Christian, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
While not quite a landslide, the game between Oberlin and Grand Lake last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Oberlin wrapped it up with a 22-3 win. No one put up better numbers for Oberlin than junior Collin Chatman, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 69 yards and 1 touchdown. Chatman has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 5 games.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Hamilton Christian weren't quite Elton's equal in the second half when they met. Hamilton Christian took a hard 0-16 fall against Elton.
Oberlin's win lifted them to 5-0 while Hamilton Christian's loss dropped them down to 0-5. Oberlin's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Hamilton Christian defensive front that amassed four sacks against Elton, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
