The Taliaferro County JAGUARS's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 82-26 loss at the hands of Greene County. Taliaferro County has struggled against Greene County recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Taliaferro County got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Jemauri Merritt and
Orlandus Craft, who each put up five points. Craft also led the team in rebounds with seven.
Taliaferro County's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Greene County, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taliaferro County will take on Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greene County, they will head out on the road to face off against Morgan County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Morgan County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three contests.
