Basketball Recap: BASIS Snaps 16-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

On Thursday, the BASIS Red Giants were able to grind out a solid win over Maya Angelou Public Charter, taking the game 68-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Giants.

BASIS's victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

BASIS will be home for the holidays to greet Digital Pioneers Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Maya Angelou Public Charter, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Washington Leadership Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Washington Leadership Academy and eight for Maya Angelou Public Charter dating back to last season.
