On Friday, Trinity had to suffer through a rough 44-13 loss at the hands of Brevard. Trinity was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.
Brevard was led to victory by Benjamin Kessinger and Nyrell Skinner. Kessinger threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, while Skinner rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
Brevard's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Judson Weaver and his two sacks.
Trinity now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Brevard, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brevard will be playing in front of their home fans against North Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Stanly is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
