Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors, falling 14-8.

Clayton Gulbrand made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was James Norton, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Ridgeview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. Christian Academy of Knoxville pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
